Learning objectives:
- Understand the diagnostic criteria for IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and associated terminology
- Learn different theories behind the pathogenesis of IBS
- Appreciate the different options for evidence-based treatment of IBS
- Develop an approach to evaluation and treatment of a patient with suspected IBS
The IAFP is hosting a virtual monthly Grand Rounds Series featuring presentations from six of Idaho’s Family Medicine Residency programs. Each month, a resident or faculty member from one of these programs will present on a clinical topic of interest to all family physicians. Each presentation will last one hour.
This event occurs on the second Monday of the month at 11:30 am PT/12:30 pm MT and lasts for one hour.
