Migraine Management with Jake Allinson, DO, PGY-2 Family Medicine – Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center

Learning objectives:

1. Definition of migraine
2. Diagnostic criteria of migraine
3. Knowing when to treat with abortive medication vs prophylactically
4. Knowing the options and adjuvants for migraine treatment

The IAFP is hosting a virtual monthly Grand Rounds Series featuring presentations from six of Idaho’s Family Medicine Residency programs. Each month, a resident or faculty member from one of these programs will present on a clinical topic of interest to all family physicians. Each presentation will last one hour.

This event occurs on the second Monday of the month at 11:30 am PT/12:30 pm MT and lasts for one hour.
