Nominations for the 2022 Idaho Family Physician of the Year Are Closed
The IAFP has received excellent nominations for the 2022 Idaho Family Physician of the Year. The award recipient will be announced in February 2022!
IAFP Family Physician of the Year 2021:
Dr. David Chambers, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
Dr. Chambers has practiced family medicine in Coeur d’Alene for over 30 years. As a family physician in the area, he has delivered babies, cared for the ill, calmed fears of the worried, and helped ensure good quality of life for the aged. He is known for his commitment to providing urgent care resources in the community. He runs his own practice and is Associate Medical Director for the Kootenai Clinic Network. Dr. Chambers has been a teacher and resource to those he works with; teaching them how to handle difficult patient encounters, run a practice, and how to perform complex procedures.
Dr. Chambers will be honored as Family Physician of the Year for Idaho at the IAFP Virtual Conference on May 22, 2021 at 11:30 am Pacific time/12:30 pm Mountain Time.
